Proposed flight round the World.
I am commanded by the Air Council to state, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that it is proposed to attempt a flight round the world about the middle of April of this year. The machine to be used will be a Vickers "Viking" Amphibian and the personnel will consist of Sir Ross Smith (pilot), Sir Keith Smith (navigator) and James Bennett (mechanic).
As at present arranged the machine will fly by the following route:-
